BAGHDAD: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Al-Soudani has urged intensified efforts to support the struggling health sector in Gaza, emphasizing moral and humanitarian responsibilities amidst the region's deteriorating health conditions. According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Soudani made these remarks during the inauguration of the 61st session of the Arab health ministerial council. He highlighted the urgent need to address the dire health situation in Gaza, which is compounded by a lack of medical care and the ongoing siege. The Prime Minister stressed that it is essential to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people, whose dignity is being impacted by these challenges. Furthermore, Al-Soudani called for solidarity with the Syrian people, who are facing a severe humanitarian crisis. The meeting, hosted in Baghdad, included discussions by the executive office of the Arab health council as part of its 61st session.
