Iraq condemns the Israeli occupation authority’s continued violation of international law and its crimes against Palestinian citizens

Baghdad, Iraq condemned in the strongest terms the continued systematic violation of international law by the Israeli occupation authority and its crimes against Palestinian citizens.

Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said in a statement, “The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation authority’s continued systematic violation of international law and its crimes against Palestinian citizens and its repeated and blatant attacks on buildings and service facilities, the most recent of which was the bombing of the headquarters of the Qatari Committee for the Repatriation of Palestinians.” Today, the reconstruction of Gaza is indifferent to international demands for the need to immediately stop this aggressive war on the Strip.”

He added, "The Ministry affirms the solidarity of the government and people of Iraq with the people of Gaza, and demands an end to the hostile attacks on those who are safe there, which constitute a serious violation of the provisions of international and humanitarian law," pointing out that "the Ministry renews its call to the Security Council and the international community to assume their responsibilities and put an end to these violations that with its destructive images and effects, it exceeded the limits of description.”
