Iranian Revolutionary Guard Leaders Killed in Israeli Attack

Tehran: Iran's Revolutionary Guard announced the death of its Intelligence chief, Major General Mohammad Kazemi, his deputy Hassan Mohaqeq, and another Guard Commander, Mohsen Bagheri, in an Israeli attack on Iran.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Revolutionary Guard released a statement via social media confirming the deaths of the three commanders associated with its intelligence apparatus. The attack was carried out by Israeli occupation forces, marking a significant escalation in hostilities between the two nations.

Since last Friday, Tehran and other Iranian cities have been under a massive attack by Israel, which Iran responded to with a large-scale missile attack. The hostilities have resulted in significant casualties and damage, including the deaths of several high-ranking Iranian officials.

Iran had also announced the deaths of the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Salami, and other Guard commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. Vital nuclear facilities and residential areas across the country were also targeted in the attacks.

Among those killed were the former head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Fereyfoun Abbasi, the president of Islamic Azad University, nuclear scientist Mohammad Mehdi Tehranji, the commander of the Khatam Al-Anbia headquarters in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Gholamreza Rashid, and the commander of the Revolutionary Guard Air Force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh.
