Iran Hails Growing Diplomatic Ties with Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani said Monday that his country's diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia have witnessed positive and growing progress over the past two years. In his weekly press briefing, Kanaani affirmed that both sides are determined to continue this constructive path across various fields. According to Kuwait News Agency, Kanaani referred to the recent visit of Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, to Riyadh. The visit included talks on key bilateral, regional, and international issues. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Khuraiji received Gharibabadi in Riyadh on November 6. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed topics of mutual interest.
