Iran Agrees to Hold Fourth Negotiations Round with US

Mashhad: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Friday that Iran has agreed to conduct the fourth round of indirect negotiations with the United States this coming Sunday. The minister made this statement to local media in Mashhad, Iran, indicating that they are currently awaiting further coordination from Oman on this matter.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Araghchi clarified that while the negotiations are progressing gradually, emerging details necessitate additional time to address each topic thoroughly. This gradual approach underscores the complexity involved in the discussions between the two nations.

Oman's Foreign Minister, Bader Al-Busaidi, noted that logistical reasons led to the postponement of the negotiations, which were initially set to occur at the beginning of last week. The talks have thus far been conducted in Muscat and Rome, involving Iran's Foreign Minister and the US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, in three previous rounds.
