Interior Ministry Undersecretary Calls for Comprehensive Preparation for 45th GCC Summit.

BEIRUT: Interior Ministry Undersecretary Lt Gen Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has underscored the necessity for full preparation and readiness among all agencies involved in security operations ahead of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit. He stressed the significance of unified communication to ensure that the event reflects Kuwait's exceptional capability in organizing high-profile conferences. According to Kuwait News Agency, this directive was given during a security meeting chaired by Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, as part of the ongoing preparations for the 45th GCC Leaders' Summit, which is scheduled to take place in Kuwait on December 1. The meeting highlighted the final arrangements for receiving the heads of state from GCC member countries. The roles and responsibilities of each unit involved in the security operations were deliberated, focusing on protection, security, and coordination. The Undersecretary issued several instructions following detailed reports and presentations, expressing co nfidence in the capability of all security agencies to execute their duties effectively and efficiently. Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf also extended greetings and appreciation on behalf of the Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah to all participants for their dedication and efforts in preparing for the GCC summit.
