Information Minister, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al-Noaimi, has congratulated the chairman and members of the board of directors of the Bahrain Journalists’ Association (BJA), following the success of BJA’s elections and the formation of its new board.
The minister affirmed the role played by BJA in consolidating the message of the national journalistic work in the kingdom.
The Information Minister emphasised the pivotal role played by the national press in the kingdom, thanks to the unwavering care and interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, noting that HM the King’s congratulations of BJA Chairman and board members confirm the royal constant support for the press in Bahrain.
Dr. Al-Noaimi also indicated that the congratulations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, of BJA chairman and board members prove HRH’s support for the Bahraini press, being one of the tributaries of HM the King’s comprehensive development process.
He lauded the confidence of the press and media community in BJA chairman and board members, affirming the Information Ministry’s keenness to continue supporting the work of BJA to enable it to achieve its noble goal of serving the media and press work in the kingdom, in way that would pave the way for the fourth estate to enhance the level of social awareness.
The Information Minister highlighted the competence and professional experience enjoyed by BJA chairman and board members, which will contribute to enhancing BJA’s work in the coming period, and meeting the aspirations of the affiliates of the media and press sector in the kingdom.
He also paid tribute to the outgoing BJA board members for the effective role they had played to develop BJA’s performance.
