India PM: Operation Sindoor Has Drawn New Line in Counter-Terror

New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that Operation Sindoor has drawn a new line in fight against terrorism. In his first address to the nation after Operation Sindoor, the Indian Prime Minister asserted that India has set a standard in dealing with terrorism.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Modi declared that any terrorist attack on India would be met with a fitting response, emphasizing India's resolve to act on its own terms. He stressed that India would not tolerate any form of nuclear blackmail and would strike precisely at terrorist bases, which thrive under such threats. He also made it clear that both the government supporting terrorism and its masterminds would be viewed as a single entity.

The prime minister lauded the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy for the successful execution of the operation against terrorism. He noted that these forces, along with the Border Security Force and paramilitary forces, remain vigilant and ready to respond to any provocations from Pakistan.

Modi mentioned that military action was halted after Pakistan promised to refrain from engaging in terror activities or military provocations, following significant damage inflicted on Pakistani Air Force bases.

In a stern warning, Modi stated that India has only suspended its retaliatory actions against Pakistan's terror and military camps. He indicated that India's future actions would depend on Pakistan's behavior, highlighting that before the suspension, Indian forces had already dismantled a significant portion of terrorist infrastructure and eliminated at least 100 terrorists.
