ICRC Highlights Kuwait’s Leading Role in Humanitarian Diplomacy

Geneva: The Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Pierre Krahenbuhl, affirmed Kuwait's leading role in humanitarian diplomacy, noting that its principled commitment and ongoing efforts to alleviate human suffering are a source of inspiration.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Krahenbuhl made these comments in an exclusive interview following his meeting with Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at the ICRC headquarters in Geneva. "It is always an honor to meet with officials from the State of Kuwait," Krahenbuhl stated, emphasizing the ICRC's longstanding strategic partnership with Kuwait, grounded in mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to alleviating human suffering.
