ICRC Delivers 15 Dead Bodies to Gaza Hospitals Under Ceasefire Deal

Gaza: The International Committee of the Red Cross has handed over 15 bodies to Gaza hospitals as part of a prisoner swap and ceasefire agreement, Gaza health authorities announced on Saturday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the bodies of the deceased were released by Israeli occupation forces, bringing the total number of corpses returned to 300.

Of the 300 bodies, 89 have been identified so far. Medical teams are continuing their efforts to handle all the bodies in accordance with accredited medical protocols and measures. These processes include thorough checking and documentation before the bodies are delivered to their respective families, the authorities noted.

The Israeli occupation forces have not provided Gaza health authorities with any information about the names, identities, or circumstances under which the individuals were killed, making it challenging for relatives to identify the bodies.
