Vienna: The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, emphasized the need for dialogue and serious engagement with Iran to resolve outstanding issues in its nuclear program. Grossi's remarks were made during a press briefing on the sidelines of the IAEA Board of Governors' meeting.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the IAEA is actively monitoring Iran's nuclear activities but requires specific answers from Tehran on critical issues. These include the presence of uranium traces at undeclared sites and the techniques used for enriching uranium up to 60 percent. Grossi expressed the agency's readiness to fulfill its technical role in any diplomatic initiatives involving European or American stakeholders.
Grossi underscored the urgency of addressing these matters, noting that time constraints could impact the situation. He referred to the looming deadlines associated with sanctions and "snapback" measures, which could significantly affect ongoing discussions.
