Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, and the Chairman of the Shura Council, HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, and members of the Shura and Representative Councils, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of furthering development efforts to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed Team Bahrain’s dedicated efforts to serve as the foundation on which the Kingdom’s successes and goals are achieved, and that with their determination the Kingdom continues to reinforce its leading position across all levels.
His Royal Highness commended the efforts of the members of the Legislative Authority during the second session of the sixth legislative term, highlighting the developmental achievements that have served citizens’ int
erests and were the result of constructive and advanced cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised that the Kingdom’s primary objective is to serve its citizens and fulfil their aspirations, which entails full utilisation of all capacities and efforts.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of continuing and enhancing cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities to benefit all.
His Royal Highness noted the achievements of all members of Team Bahrain, from the Executive Authority, the Legislative Authority, the private sector and the civil society, in their respective capacities. His Royal Highness commended their ongoing commitment to converting challenges into successes, thereby inspiring a promising present and future for all.

For their part, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, the Chairman of the Shura Council, and the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, HE Sameer Abdulla Nass, extended their appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his ongoing support of joint cooperation to achieve progress and development for the Kingdom and its citizens.
They further expressed their commitment to work toward achieving the Kingdom’s wide-ranging development goals.
The Deputy Prime Minister, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, a number of senior officials, and HE Sameer Abdulla Nass, also attended the meeting.
