HM King’s participation in HM King Charles III’s Coronation reflects depth of Bahrain-UK ties: Ambassador

Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the UK, has asserted that the participation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, along with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in the Coronation ceremony of His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth, held today at Westminster Abbey, reflects the long-standing flourishing bilateral relations stretching back to over 200 years.

He affirmed that the royal participation in HM King Charles III’s Coronations shed light on the depth and strength of the Bahraini-British relations, which are based on mutual respect and aspiration for a better future for the region to promote peace and serve the entire humanity.

Shaikh Fawaz said: “It gives me immense pleasure to extend, on this historic occasion, my sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth, the British Royal Family, the government and people of the friendly United Kingdom.”

“I would like to express the pride of the Kingdom of Bahrain, leadership and people, in the depth of its strategic relations and close partnership with the United Kingdom, which extend for a long history of coordination and fruitful cooperation in various fields,” he added.

“I also affirm the Kingdom of Bahrain’s determination to continue working to strengthen this strategic partnership, develop relations between the two friendly countries, and advance the frameworks of cooperation between them in various fields towards broader horizons,” the ambassador also said.
