His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received – in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM King’s Personal Representative HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor HH Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa – Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, their deputies and heads committees.
They expressed to HM the King congratulations and greetings on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing HM the king abundant health, happiness and long life and the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and development.
HM the King exchanged greetings with them, praised their good wishes and noble feelings on this blessed occasion, praising the efforts made by the Speaker, Shura Council Chairman and members and their patriotic stances.
He hailed the pivotal role of the legislative branch in supporting Bahrain’s development and democratic process, defending the Kingdom’s vital interests and reflecting citizens’ aspirations.
He also lauded the contributions of the legislature to bolstering Bahrain’s standing in international parliamentary arenas, praising the successful hosting of the 146th IPU Assembly in the Kingdom.
HM the King underscored the importance of furthering fruitful cooperation and supporting coordination between the legislative and executive branches of government to push development and progress forward.
HM the King highlighted Bahrain’s development strides across all fields, taking pride in citizens’ devotion and vital contributions to their country’s progress.
