Kuwait city: Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Nader Al-Jallal underscored the vital role of academic institutions in strengthening national identity and instilling loyalty and belonging among students.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Dr. Al-Jallal's remarks came during a press statement following his attendance at celebrations of the 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day organized by Abdullah Al-Salem University and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET). These events saw participation from government higher education institutions.
Dr. Al-Jallal extended his congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti people.
He emphasized that the participation of higher education institutions reflects academic unity and the strong bond between the political leadership and the Kuwaiti people. Celebrating national occasions on campus, he noted, underscores the State's commitment to preparing qualified national cadres capable of contributing to sustainable development in alignment with strategic plans to enhance higher education quality and align it with national priorities.
For their part, Abdullah Al-Salem University Director Dr. Muna Al-Ahmad and PAAET Deputy Director General for Academic Affairs, Development and Innovation Dr. Mishal Al-Mansouri also extended congratulations to the leadership and people of Kuwait, expressing hopes for continued security and prosperity.
The ceremony featured student performances, folklore shows, a musical presentation by the Ministry of Interior band, and a national-themed exhibition.
