Beirut: The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation has predicted that tomorrow's weather will bring cloudy skies along with a noticeable drop in temperatures. Scattered rain is expected, intensifying into heavy downpours from noon onwards, which may lead to flooding on roads. Accompanying these showers will be thunderstorms and strong winds, with speeds potentially reaching up to 90 km/h.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, northern areas are anticipated to experience even stronger winds, possibly reaching speeds of around 110 km/h, which could result in sea waves as high as 4 meters. There is also a possibility of hail, and authorities have issued warnings about the potential danger of falling billboards on roads.
Snowfall is forecasted to commence at altitudes of 1600 meters, with the potential for snow levels to drop to 1200 meters early Tuesday due to decreasing temperatures. In the northern regions, snow levels could descend even further. Additionally, dense fog is expected to form over the highlands, leading to a complete loss of visibility, posing significant challenges for travelers and residents in these areas.
