Head Of UAE Journalists Association Stresses The Importance Of The Role Of The Arab Journalists Federation In Launching Programs To Support Arab Journalists

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Journalists Association, Muhammad Al-Hammadi, stressed the importance of the role of the Arab Journalists Federation in launching programs to support journalists in various Arab countries, organizing conferences and completing studies.

Al-Hammadi expressed, according to the Emirati newspaper, Al-Watan, his keenness to participate in the meetings of the General Secretariat and the Permanent Office of the Federation of Arab Journalists, which would enhance the role of the Arab press at the Arab and international levels.

Al-Hammadi praised the role of the meetings of the General Secretariat and the permanent office of the General Federation of Arab Journalists, the wide participation of Arab journalists, and the challenges facing the press and media profession and the current conditions in a large number of brotherly Arab countries.

Al-Watan newspaper stated that the Emirati Journalists Association participated in the meetings of the General Secretariat and the permanent office of the Federation of Arab Journalists, which were held in Baghdad, and also attended the national celebration of the 154th anniversary of the Iraqi press, which was held by the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate.

According to the newspaper, the delegation of the Emirates Journalists Association included Mohammed Al-Hammadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hussein Al-Mannai, Vice-President, and Fadila Al-Muaini, Secretary of Emirates Journalists Association.

The participants in the meetings expressed their pride in the participation of their fellow Iraqi journalists in the celebrations of the Iraqi Press Day, which commemorates the 154th anniversary of the issuance of the first Iraqi newspaper. The attendees expressed their pride in the history of the Iraqi press and the great work it contributed to, and the great sacrifices made by Iraqi journalists, which had great credit for Iraq maintaining its unity, strength, and economic, social and political development.
