Head of Cultural Office in Cairo: Kuwait Keen on Enriching Arab Cultural Inheritance

Kuwait city: Kuwait is keen on safeguarding and enriching Arab cultural inheritance for the sake of future generations, said head of the Kuwaiti Cultural Office in Cairo Dr. Khaled Al-Mhareb, on Wednesday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Mhareb spoke on the sidelines of the Arab League's first annual gathering for Arab Cultural Attaches, affirming that Kuwait played an integral cultural role in the Arab region by supporting cultural work in various fields.

Al-Mhareb highlighted Kuwait's soft power role and the impact of its publications on the Arab cultural scene, noting that these efforts have created a unique identity for the country. He emphasized the significant contributions of Kuwait University in spreading Arab culture, praising its annual publications and the hosting of outstanding educational staff as factors that establish it as a prominent institution in higher education.

Additionally, he mentioned Kuwait's designation as the capital of Arab Media and Culture for 2025, indicating that this recognition reflects the country's esteemed status within the region.
