Cairo: Hamas announced approving the Egyptian initiative on forming a joint national committee for the management of Gaza. In a statement on Thursday, Hamas said that its delegation met with Fatah officials in Cairo, where they discussed forming the committee and agreed on exerting further efforts to resolve their differences to achieve unity. According to Kuwait News Agency, Palestinians see this step as hope to end their suffering in the face of challenges imposed by the Israeli occupation forces' continuous attacks since October 7, 2023, that left thousands dead and injured.
