Manama: International policymakers and innovators gathered in the Bahraini capital Manama on Sunday for a forum that delved into investment trends and flows across the Gulf Arab region and beyond.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the forum, “Gateway Gulf,” hosted by the Gulf Arab kingdom’s Economic Development Board, is the Gulf Arab region’s primary platform for reshaping global investment and “forging strategic partnerships” across key sectors.
This year’s edition focuses on the theme of “Rethinking Global Investment for New Trade Dynamics,” which reflects a broad awareness about the need to increase international cooperation towards sustainable development plans.
Addressing the gathering, Bahraini Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa emphasized that the forum was a platform to strengthen international relations and discover promising opportunities for investment, aiming to “reshape” the future of investment in the region.
The forum’s agenda includes pressing matters such as economic diversification efforts, evolving trade trends, the latest financial practices, and digital drive initiatives.
