GCC Holds Emergency Meeting to Address Iranian Missile Attack on Qatar

Doha: The 49th extraordinary meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial Council is set to tackle the recent Iranian missile attack on Qatar. The meeting, held in the Qatari capital, will be chaired by Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister and current session Chairman of the Ministerial Council. It will see the participation of Foreign Ministers from all GCC countries.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, the Secretary-General of the GCC, emphasized that the meeting aims to discuss the implications of the missile attack. The session underscores the GCC's solidarity with Qatar, reaffirming that the security and stability of Qatar are essential to the region's overall security.
