GCC Diplomats Praise Kuwait, Commend It for Bolstering Joint Gulf Coop.

Kuwait City: Saudi, UAE, Qatari, and Omani Ambassadors praised Kuwait and its important status in the region, commending it for its efforts to bolster joint Gulf cooperation and development. This appreciation was expressed ahead of the 45th GCC Summit scheduled to take place in Kuwait today. According to Kuwait News Agency, Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Prince Sultan bin Saad Al-Saud emphasized the advancements and innovations achieved by all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, noting their roles as exemplars in security, development, and regional excellence. He affirmed the GCC's commitment to international duties and its balanced approach in regional and international arenas, highlighting its role as a unifier of efforts among GCC citizens. Qatari Ambassador to Kuwait Ali Al-Mahmoud stressed the importance of the summit as a renewed commitment to cooperation, addressing geopolitical challenges, particularly in the Middle East. He urged for reinforced efforts to address the Israeli occupation's actions in the Gaza Strip and other regional conflicts, alongside economic challenges requiring viable solutions for further progress and development. Omani Ambassador Saleh Al-Kharusi highlighted the achievements of the GCC since its inception and the global attention these accomplishments have garnered. He emphasized the need to protect past achievements while continuing to work towards future successes to uphold the GCC's strong legacy. UAE Ambassador Dr. Matar Al-Neyadi pointed out the significance of the 45th GCC Summit given the current regional developments. He lauded the efforts of the GCC leaders and citizens, expressing enthusiasm for the GCC pavilion at Abdullah Al-Salem's Cultural Center, which showcases the region's achievements over recent decades.
