Kuwait City: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Al-Budaiwi welcomed an immediate ceasefire deal reached between Pakistan and India. In a statement, Al-Budaiwi expressed hopes that the agreement would enhance security and stability in South Asia.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Budaiwi affirmed GCC's support for international and regional efforts aimed at achieving a lull between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving conflicts.
Al-Budaiwi further expressed hope that the deal would serve as a stepping stone towards an inclusive solution to the conflict between India and Pakistan, ensuring permanent peace and security for their nations.
