Munich: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Al-Budaiwi stressed the need of intensifying the international efforts aiming to end the suffering of the Palestinian people. During his meeting with Chief of NATO Military Committee Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone on Saturday, the Secretary-General urged ensuring durable delivery of humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting, held on the sidelines of the 61st Munich Security Conference (MSC 2025), reviewed the latest developments of the situations in the Middle East with emphasis on the situation in Gaza Strip, according to a statement from the GCC Secretariat.
The GCC states maintain a firm supportive stance on regional stability and the international efforts aiming to resolve humanitarian disasters, the statement quoted Al-Budaiwi as saying.
On his part, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone praised the distinguished role of the GCC states in protecting regional and international security and stability, the statement added.
