Kuwait city: Jassem Al-Budaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC, received Roberto Storaci, Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Italy, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh. The meeting aimed to discuss and enhance cooperation between the GCC and Italy in various fields. According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions were attended by Carlo Baldocci, Ambassador of Italy to Saudi Arabia. The officials focused on strengthening relations and explored opportunities for joint cooperation in vital sectors through the GCC-EU Joint Action Program 2022-2028. This initiative is designed to serve the common interests of both parties. Both sides also exchanged views on recent developments at the regional and international levels. The meeting concluded with a discussion on issues of common interest, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between the GCC and Italy.
