GCC Chief Condemns Israeli Occupation Aggression on Syria’s Koya

Kuwait City: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Al-Budaiwi on Wednesday denounced the Israeli occupation forces' aggression on Koya Town in Syria's Daraa Governorate, which resulted in multiple casualties.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Budaiwi stated that this act by Israeli forces is a continuation of its aggressive behavior that undermines regional security and stability. He emphasized the importance of respecting Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, stating these as fundamental components of both regional and international security and peace. He referenced the final communique of the 163rd GCC ministerial meeting to support his statement.

Furthermore, the GCC chief urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by halting these repeated Israeli aggressions on Syrian territories. He also demanded that the occupation forces withdraw from all occupied Syrian territories.
