Gazans Hold Funeral for 54 “Unknown Martyrs” Amid Ongoing Conflict

Gaza: War-haggard Gazans held a funeral procession for 54 martyrs, corpses of whom have been handed over by the Israeli occupation as part of the prisoners’ swap accord. The local health authorities said in a statement on Wednesday that the martyrs’ bodies had been delivered recently, however there were no information about their names, identities and how they had lost their lives.

According to Kuwait News Agency, distressed Gazans had taken part in their funeral and burial at Al-Shuhadaa cemetery in Deir Al-Balah. The somber event highlighted the ongoing tension and the human cost of the conflict in the region.

Meanwhile, the authorities reported receiving the bodies of 30 martyrs, bringing the total number of delivered Palestinian corpses to 195, some bearing torture scars. This development underscores the continuous human rights concerns and the complex nature of the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
