French President Urges Israeli Occupation to Reopen Crossings for Gaza Aid

Paris: French President Emmanuel Macron has made a public appeal to the Israeli occupation to reopen crossings into Gaza and allow the entry of humanitarian aid, emphasizing the severity of the current situation in the region.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Macron highlighted the dire conditions in Gaza during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. He described the "forced displacement" of Palestinians by the Israeli occupation as "unacceptable." Macron expressed his concern over the unprecedented deprivation facing the population, noting the lack of access to medical care, and the inability to evacuate the wounded, alongside a severe shortage of food, medicine, and water.
