French President Macron Embarks on Strategic Visit to Saudi Arabia.


Riyadh: President Emmanuel Macron is set to visit Saudi Arabia starting Monday, with the aim of strengthening the partnership between the two nations. This visit, which will extend until December fourth, comes at the invitation of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Elysee Palace has outlined that the visit will focus on enhancing cooperation in key strategic areas such as defense, security, energy transformation, and telecommunications. These efforts are part of both countries’ long-term development plans, known as Saudi and French Visions for 2030.

Additionally, President Macron will attend the One Water Summit in Riyadh on December third. This event is part of the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP16). The summit, co-chaired by France, Kazakhstan, and the World Bank in partnership with Saudi Arabia, serves as a global platform for discussing sustainable and innovative solutions t
o water resource challenges in the face of climate change.
