Paris: France has delivered 30 tons of humanitarian aid to the people of Lebanon, responding to an ongoing emergency situation. The aid package includes essential items such as tents and blankets, aiming to support the Lebanese populace in these challenging times, as stated by the French Foreign Ministry. According to Kuwait News Agency, this assistance marks the initial commitment by President Emmanuel Macron following the international conference held on October 24 in Paris, which focused on supporting Lebanon's population and preserving its sovereignty. During this conference, participants pledged a total of USD 800 million in humanitarian aid, with USD 200 million specifically allocated for Lebanon's security forces. In addition to the latest aid shipment, the French Foreign Ministry highlighted that prior to the conference, France, in collaboration with Qatar, had already delivered 40 tons of medicine and medical supplies to Lebanese hospitals and non-governmental humanitarian organizations.
