Four Iranian Military Personnel Killed in Confrontation with Israeli Forces

Tehran: Iranian media announced on Monday, the death of four Iranian military personnel while confronting attacks by the Israeli occupation.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Public Relations office stated that two of its forces were killed last night in the Ijroud area of Zanjan province while defending the country's borders against Israeli occupation attacks.

Qom's Deputy Governor for Political and Security Affairs, Morteza Heidari, announced that two military personnel were killed during the Israeli occupation's targeting of military sites and air defenses in the province. Heidari also noted that 42 other people were injured as a result of the Israeli attacks and were transferred to hospitals, adding that "fortunately, most of these cases are recovering." Near the city of Qom is the Fordow nuclear site, one of Iran's most fortified underground nuclear facilities for uranium enrichment, alongside the Natanz nuclear facility in Isfahan.

Since early Friday morning, the capital Tehran and other Iranian cities have been under a wide-scale attack launched by Israeli occupation forces, which Iran responded to with a major missile strike on the occupied territories.
