FMs of Egypt, Tunisia hold session of talks

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, on Tuesday August 8, 2023, held a session of talks with his Tunisian counterpart Nabil Ammar.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said on Twetter that a tete-a-tete session of talks has just started at the Tunisian Foreign Ministry between Shoukry and Ammar.

Shoukry arrived in Tunis on Monday night for talks on bilateral relations and means of boosting them, in addition to holding consultations on a set of regional and international issues of common interest.

Talks come as part of the 15th round of the committee on political consultations between Egypt and Tunisia, added the spokesman.

Shoukry is scheduled to meet with Tunisian President Kais Saied to convey a verbal message to him from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on means of buttressing bilateral ties and cooperation spheres between the two sides.
