Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Dr. Badr Abdulatti expressed his keenness to support the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in executing the Arab plan for the reconstruction of Gaza.
According to Kuwait News Agency, this declaration was made during a meeting held by Abdulatti with the UN Assistant Secretary General and Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Arab States, Abdullah Al-Dardari. Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tamim Khallaf stated that Abdulatti was eager to understand what the program could offer in support of the Cairo Ministerial Conference for the reconstruction of Gaza. This conference will be organized jointly by the UN and the Palestinian government.
Abdulatti emphasized Egypt’s commitment to aiding the UN in advancing sustainable development in the Arab region. He highlighted Egypt’s role as a key partner in implementing these initiatives to ensure tangible outcomes on the ground.
