Five suspects arrested and four weapons shops closed in Baghdad

The Intelligence Service announced the arrest of five suspects and the closure of four shops selling weapons without approvals in Baghdad.

A statement by the Service stated: “The detachments of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Service in the Ministry of Interior carried out a security duty to follow up the shops selling weapons in Baghdad governorate, which resulted in the arrest of five suspects for selling various weapons and closing four shops without official approvals, where a group of firearms were seized, they include 5 Kalashnikov rifles, 8 M4 rifles, 58 pistols and hunting rifles, large quantities of various ammunition, and 34 night vision binoculars and various sharp tools.
