First Deputy Speaker: Opening The Higher Institute For Leadership Development Is An Important Step To Achieve Administrative Reform

First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, affirmed that the opening of the Higher Institute for Leadership Development is an important step to achieve administrative reform and improve the performance of state institutions.

The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement, “The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, participated today in al-Shaab Palace building, in the inauguration ceremony of the Higher Institute for the Preparation and Qualification of Leaders, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, and the second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah and a number of MPs, ministers and officials.

Al-Mandalawi stressed, according to the statement, that “the opening of the institute is an important step in achieving administrative reform and fighting corruption, and a basic pillar for developing the performance of government institutions and changing their reality to provide the service that citizens expect,” pointing to “the importance of raising the level of skills and expertise for workers in leadership positions and administrative cadres in line with the rapid progress in various sciences.
