First Deputy PM Emphasizes Kuwaiti Female Role in Military

Kuwait City: The First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah affirmed on Monday the importance of Kuwaiti female role in military corps as he pointed out her competence in enduring military responsibilities on and off the battlefield.

According to Kuwait News Agency, this statement was released by the Ministry of Interior following Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf's inspection visit to the Women's Police Institute. During the visit, he was received by Assistant Undersecretary for Education and Training Affairs at the ministry, Maj. Gen. Fawaz Al-Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences Brig. Ali Al-Wuhaib, and Director of the Women's Police Institute Col. Iman Boland, along with other senior officers in the education and training sector.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf emphasized the importance of developing the education and training environment within the institution to align with technological and digital advancements. He underscored the need to leverage modern sciences to refine the skills of the institute's graduates, which he believes will enhance their effective participation in supporting national security.

Additionally, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf expressed pride in the determination and competence of Kuwaiti women, highlighting their significant contributions across various sectors of the security establishment.

The statement also mentioned that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yusuf was briefed on the facilities, the educational process, and military training at the institute. He engaged in discussions with female students, during which he listened to their opinions and observations.
