First Batch of Kuwaitis Evacuated from Iran Arrives Safely Through Turkmenistan

Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the arrival of the first group of Kuwaitis evacuated from Iran via Turkmenistan early Saturday. This marks a significant step in the country's ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens abroad.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah personally welcomed the returning citizens upon their arrival. The successful evacuation underscores Kuwait's commitment to safeguarding its nationals and highlights the collaborative efforts between the Kuwaiti embassies and the governments of both Kuwait and Turkmenistan.

The Ministry expressed gratitude towards both countries for their cooperation in facilitating the safe return of the Kuwaiti citizens. Efforts will continue to coordinate with relevant officials to ensure the repatriation of all Kuwaiti nationals currently residing in Iran.
