Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, sent a cable of congratulations to the National Security Advisor, Secretary-General of the Supreme Defence Council, and Commander of the Royal Guard, His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on his promotion to the rank of Lieutenant-General, following a Royal Order by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He stressed that the promotion is a tribute for the great competence and efforts exerted by HH Lt. General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in serving the nation.
