Civil defense teams put out a fire that broke out this evening in a sweets factory in Basra.
The Director of Civil Defense in Basra, Brigadier General Tahsin Sari, told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “The civil defense teams were able to control the fire that broke out in the (Pistachio Bisket) factory on Al-Qaed Street, and prevented it from spreading to neighboring homes and nearby car showrooms.”
He added: “The fire caused material damage to the factory, but no human injuries.”
