According to Kuwait News Agency, Iranian air defenses engaged in intense clashes around Mehrabad Airport following the explosion. The air defense activity was significant, with the country's airspace remaining closed in the aftermath. On Friday evening, Tehran experienced a heightened activation of anti-aircraft missiles, with explosions echoing across various parts of the capital.
