Al Anouani stated that the EU is "deeply concerned" about the rising tensions and the reports of civilian harm. He urged both Cambodia and Thailand to seek de-escalation and to resolve their disputes through dialogue and peaceful means, adhering to international law, including the United Nations Charter.
