Erdogan Urges Trump to Halt Israeli Attacks

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during a phone call with US President Donald Trump, emphasized the necessity for the Israeli occupation to stop its attacks. Erdogan stated that halting these offensives is essential for promoting peace efforts in the Middle East.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Erdogan praised initiatives aimed at achieving peace in the region and highlighted Ankara's involvement in such efforts. The communication between the two leaders occurred in the context of a peace initiative proposed by Trump to end the conflict in Gaza. Meanwhile, Hamas has indicated that it is engaging with stakeholders before delivering a response to the US proposal.
