Manama, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), received Professor Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR).
During the visit, Prof. Al Suwaidi presented his latest book, "His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan: Highlights in the Journey of a Visionary Leader", which explores the journey of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed commended Al Suwaidi's efforts in producing this remarkable book, which goes beyond mere documentation and offers a message and platform to inform present and future generations worldwide about the profound contributions of this great personality to the realms of progress, peace, tolerance, development, and well-being for humanity.
He emphasised that the upcoming book launch in Bahrain, following its inauguration in the UAE, underscores the deep-rooted relations between the two countries. These relations, built upon solid foundations laid by previous generations, reflect the care of leadership of both nations and serve as a role model for cooperation.
Derasat Chairman praised the research contributions of the ECSSR, noting its alignment with international developments in scientific and strategic research. He highlighted the Centre's qualitative publications and dialogues with prominent intellectuals, thinkers, and researchers as crucial elements in enhancing global stability and peace.
Al Suwaidi expressed his pride in the active role and valuable contributions of the Derasat Center as one of the leading Arabian Gulf and Arab think tanks. Derasat has contributed to providing a better understanding and more accurate analysis of various regional and international issues and developments.
He also acknowledged the important position held by Derasat Center in adopting the finest scientific research practices as means to meet the requirements of contemporary life and contribute to societal progress in various fields.
