Egyptian Museum Inauguration Draws Leaders From 39 Nations


Cairo: Leaders from 39 countries are set to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum this Saturday. Seventy-nine official delegations will participate, including a significant number of monarchs, heads of state, and government leaders. This event is anticipated to be a milestone for Egypt, showcasing the country’s rich heritage and future aspirations.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait will be represented by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah, acting as the Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The Egyptian Presidency emphasized that the unprecedented level of representation underscores the global interest in Egypt’s vision, which intertwines the authenticity of the past with the creativity of the present and the prosperity of the future.

The ceremony will see participation from royal figures from Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Luxembourg, Monaco, Japan, and Thailand. Add
itionally, presidents from countries such as Djibouti, Somalia, Palestine, and several European and African nations will be present. Prime Ministers from Greece, Hungary, and other nations will also attend, highlighting the global significance of the event.

The opening will further include high-level ministerial and parliamentary representatives from numerous countries worldwide. Regional and international organizations, including the League of Arab States and the United Nations, will also be represented, along with prominent figures from the business sector, such as CEOs and representatives from major global companies.
