Cairo: Egyptian media reported that 166 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip through the Zikim and Karam Abu Salem crossings from Wednesday morning until dawn Thursday. These trucks were loaded with essential supplies such as flour, foodstuffs, and medical supplies.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) stated on Thursday that Egypt is intensifying its efforts with international parties to facilitate the flow of aid into Gaza amid a worsening humanitarian situation. MENA highlighted that an additional 180 trucks were expected to enter on Thursday. Of these, 137 trucks are filled with flour, while the remaining vehicles will transport various food items.
The agency also mentioned that the Egyptian Red Crescent has increased its preparedness to enable more aid to enter Gaza in the coming hours. This initiative is part of Egypt's ongoing commitment to support Gaza and its efforts to ease the suffering of the Palestinian people amid the continuing escalation.
