Egyptian Foreign Minister Calls for Immediate Cease of Israeli Aggression in Southern Lebanon

Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdulatty has called for an immediate halt to Israeli occupation aggression against southern Lebanon, emphasizing the need for an unconditional withdrawal and full implementation of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 1701.

According to Kuwait News Agency, this statement was made during a phone conversation between Abdulatty and his Lebanese counterpart, Youssef Rajji. The discussion highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation, with Egypt expressing its willingness to assist Lebanon in reconstructing infrastructure damaged during the conflict.

Both officials reiterated their commitment to expanding cooperation across multiple sectors. Abdulatty assured Lebanon of Egypt's steadfast support in addressing security challenges and reaffirmed Cairo's opposition to any actions that threaten Lebanon's security and stability.
