Egypt and Syria agreed Saturday to intensify coordination at various levels during the next stage, to address issues and topics that affect the interests of the two countries and peoples.
This came during a meeting between Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, said the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.
The statement noted that the visit, which is the first in more than ten years, witnessed a closed bilateral meeting between the foreign ministers, followed by an expanded round of talks that included the Egyptian and Syrian delegations.
