Cairo: Egypt, Qatar, and Turkiye have expressed their support for the establishment of a Palestinian technocratic committee intended to manage the Gaza Strip. This development is viewed as a significant step toward restoring stability and enhancing humanitarian conditions in the region.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the tripartite statement released by these countries emphasized the crucial role of the committee, led by Dr. Ali Shaath, in facilitating the next phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. This phase aligns with the plan outlined by US President Donald Trump. The statement urged all involved parties to adhere to the agreement's terms to achieve lasting peace and establish the necessary conditions for the reconstruction of the Strip.

The statement also highlighted that achieving stability in the Gaza Strip necessitates collaborative international and regional efforts to fulfill the Palestinian people's aspirations for security, stability, and a decent living standard. Earlier, Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty announced a consensus on the formation of the 15-member Palestinian technocratic committee.
