According to Kuwait News Agency, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the Israeli initiative seeks to eliminate the prospects of a viable life for Palestinians and undermines their right to self-determination and statehood. The ministry labeled these actions as stark violations of international and humanitarian laws.
The statement further criticized Israel's ongoing policies, accusing them of systematically starving defenseless Palestinians in what Egypt describes as acts of genocide. The ministry warned that such actions could only lead to an escalation of conflict and an increase in hatred and extremism throughout the Middle East. The ministry highlighted the worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israel's aggressive tactics.
Egypt has called upon the international community, including the United Nations Security Council and other stakeholders, to take immediate action to halt what it describes as Israeli thuggery.
