Cairo: Egypt strongly condemned and denounced on Monday extremist Israeli settler organizations' calls to blow up Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry emphasized its complete rejection of the extreme provocation these calls inflict on the feelings of Muslims around the world.
The ministry warned against any attacks on Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem and stressed the need to halt the serious violations within the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Egypt called the international community for immediate action to halt Israeli occupation violations and incitements and put an end to its actions, by preventing further deterioration of security and stability in the Middle East.
